Odessa, the feminine form of Odysseus, evokes the spirit of wandering and adventure, inspired by the legendary journey in Homer’s The Odyssey. During my travels in Ukraine, I was captivated by the beauty of Odessa, a city that lives up to its illustrious name. While there, I created a short photo essay about young women who lived in Odessa but dreamed of leaving for other European countries.
